On April 6, the Riverside County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder announced an upcoming schedule change to the Blythe office’s hours that folks should be aware of.
“Beginning May 4, the Riverside County Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder will change its days of service in Blythe from Monday and Wednesday to Tuesday and Thursday,” stated the Assessor-Clerk-Recorder. “This change will increase office availability by reducing holiday closures that occur on Mondays.”
In 2020, the Blythe-area office of Assessor-Clerk-Recorder Peter Aldana was closed in March to comply with the emergency order issued in response to COVID-19.
The office then re-opened for most in-person services (with appointments) in November while adhering to public health and safety guidelines.
“Unless customers must conduct their business in person, the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder’s office encourages customers to conduct their business from the convenience and safety of their own home, either online or by mail,” added the Assessor-Clerk-Recorder of the May 4 announcement. “To learn more about how they may complete their requests remotely or to book an appointment, customers may visit the department’s website at www.asrclkrec.com or call 951-955-6200.”
