Someone once said, “Recognition is the greatest motivator” – and Palo Verde Unified School District (PVUSD) couldn’t agree more.
When it comes to recognizing the hard work and the dedicated efforts our students put forth, PVUSD strives to never overlook their growing zeal and enthusiasm to reach success.
That’s why the district is beyond proud of each and every student who received an award or honorable mention at Palo Verde High School’s (PVHS) first quarter assembly, held on Oct. 23.
Over 300 students received Honor Roll/ Principal’s Honor Roll, Fall Sports certificates and campus passes, evidence of each student’s commitment for earned academic achievement.
As site counselor Eliana Sanchez reiterated at the awards’ assembly, each of our students deserve a pat on the back for doing a job well done last quarter.
Sanchez added, “If you’re happy with the grades you got and you like where you are, continue doing a great job, but if you’re not happy, now is the time to change those grades. This is only the first quarter. The semester ends Dec. 19, and those are the grades that will count and follow you, (so) remember, we offer tutoring with afternoon transportation available.”
PVUSD hopes each of our students will continue producing his or her best work and allow their positive actions to produce even greater excellence in their lives.
On behalf of PVUSD, congratulations to all of our first quarter awards recipients.
