Students at Twin Palms High School who demonstrate exemplary achievement are being doubly rewarded.

According to Principal Brook Penca, staff members at the school are invited every month to select students who have demonstrated exceptional academic or personal development. To encourage continued improvement, the students are recognized with "Shine Award" certificates and also get to make a group trip to the R&R Mini Mart, walking distance from their school, where they are each gifted one of the store’s famous pepper bellies as a special treat.
